Virtual Networking Event. Early Career Researchers WANTED!. Chile’s next Generation of Humboldtians
The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation is organising a Virtual Networking Event and forwarding this Call for Participation to you with the support of the Chilean Humboldt Fellows.
With this Virtual Networking Event, the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation aims at establishing, renewing and deepening scientific as well as personal contacts between active Humboldt Fellows and Early Career Researchers who are planning a research stay in Germany and want to be part of the next generation of Humboldtians in Chile.
This event provides a forum for presentation and discussion of current research activities and future initiatives on an interdisciplinary level in parallel workshops. Humboldtians will give short lectures, and flash talks (five minutes) will be presented by Early Career Researchers.
Humboldtians from Chile and Ambassador Scientists from Latin America will act as mentors during the event. As mentors, they will share their valuable experiences and answer your questions in group sessions and personal interviews. Staff of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation will also be available for personal appointments.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to get in contact with our German and Chilean cooperation partners who will offer virtual information booths.
The conference languages will be English, Spanish and German. The choice of the conference language in the respective sessions should enable all participants to interact actively.

All applications will be reviewed by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. The selection of participants is based on the quality of their abstracts, curricula vitae and lists of publications submitted. All applicants will be notified by 15 February 2021.
